第62回 調達価格等算定委員会の資料には石巻のバイオマス発電で利用が検討されているポンガミア油脂にはカランジンという毒性のある物質を微量含有しているという内容がl公表されています。
カランジンはウィキペディアによるとダニ駆除剤や殺虫剤に使われる物質で食用、化粧品、洗剤等に利用できないレベルの毒性物質です。

安全性には十分配慮されて計画はされているとは思いますが仮に人体に影響がなくても殺虫剤成分の含まれた油を大量に（1日あたり200ｔ）も燃焼させる事が石巻市の環境にとって本当に安全であるのか？検証されたデーターは入手できませんでした。
ポンガミア油に含まれる殺虫剤成分が微量でも1日200ｔ 1年間で7万3千トン 20年間で146万トンもの殺虫成分が含まれる油を燃やし続けるのが石巻市の生態系に対して安全であることが私達には理解できません。
世界中のバイオマスオイル発電のデーターをネットで検索しましたが同等の発電データー等は事例として見つかりませんでした。
おそらく世界初で最大規模のポンガミアを使った発電所だと思われますが、過去に同等の殺虫成分が含まれる油を燃やした事例がないと思われますのでどのような根拠を元に石巻市の住民と生態系に悪影響が出ないことを示すデーターの開示を求めていきたいと思います。
仮に人体に影響がなくても殺虫剤成分を燃やすことで石巻市の昆虫が死滅するような事があれば生態系に大きな影響を与える可能性がでてきました。
今後はこの問題点を追求していきたいと思います。
